The Keeper of the Plains is a 44-foot tall statue that towers over Veterans Memorial Park, sandwiched between Arkansas and Little Arkansas River. Great Plains Transportation Museum

The Great Plains Transport Museum is the perfect place to teach your little ones about railroading history in the Great Plains. The museum is home to a wide range of railroad equipment. Its two largest displays include the Santa Fe steam locomotive #3768 and Santa Fe FP45 diesel #93, representing the last class of passenger locomotives. Additional exhibits include numerous historical railroad prints and building tools, artifacts, and even a mock-up mechanical stoker used in the training of past steam locomotive personnel.
