Leadership Team
RAJ LAL, Administrator
Raj brings a high level of experience and expertise to Comfort and Love. He is a Licensed Adult Care Home Administrator (LACHA), Limited Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS), Infection Control Preventionist (ICP), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), and Certified Personal Approach to Care Trainer (PAC CIT) specializing in dementia / memory care.
He has worked in skilled and long-term care, acute hospital, geriatric home care, charge nurse in a psych unit, and pediatrics. Raj has been with C&L for over four years, two years as Clinical Director and then promoted to Administrator. He has achieved deficiency-free surveys in 2025 and 2026 as acknowledged by the State Inspections Commissioner.
PAMELA HAMEL, Clinical Director
Pamela Hamel brings extensive experience in nursing leadership, long-term and skilled care, wound care, acute hospital settings, infection control, Medicaid billing, and MDS. Her strong clinical and administrative knowledge is matched by her greatest strength: providing personalize care to every resident.
Pamela has been a Registered Nurse (RN) for 13 years and has been with C&L for three years.
AMBER PUETT, Assistant Manager
Amber brings diverse experience including working with Kansas Dept. of Children and Family (supporting children with challenges), acute hospital settings, and agency staffing in clinical environments. She has strong multitasking abilities and is known for providing excellent resident care, as reflected in positive feedback.
Amber is a Certified Med Aid (CMA) and a Licensed Adult Care Home Administrator (LACHA). Amber has been with C&L for two years.
Management Team
JOE GREAVES, RALS is President of Comfort and Love Senior Care Homes. As a Certified RALS (Residential Assisted Living Specialist), Joe has advanced operational training in assisted living and dementia/memory care. Joe experience spans 35 years owning, managing and developing real estate projects.
DAVID GUARINO, RALS is COO of Comfort and Love Senior Care Homes. He is responsible for all aspects of overseeing C&L Operations.
David has consulted dozens of owner-operators of long-term care homes throughout the United States. He has developed business plans, financial modeling, assisted with site selection, and determined capitalization options.
JIM GUARINO, RALS is CEO of Comfort and Love Senior Care Homes. Jim brings 40+ years’ business experience in multiple industries including consulting senior care home investor / entrepreneurs throughout the United States.
Jim sits on the Board of Advisors for the Residential Assisted Living National Association and is Senior Advisor for clients of the Residential Assisted Living academy in Phoenix, AZ.
BRANDON BENTZ MD, FACS, RALS serves as Senior Medical Advisor at Comfort and Love Senior Care Homes. Dr. Bentz is an Ear, Nose, and Throat physician and Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and advance trained in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology.
Dr. Bentz has served as Chief of Otolaryngology at Salt Lake Veterans Administration Hospital, and head of Otolaryngology at medical centers in Northern California, Washington State, and Colorado. and is a certified RALS (Residential Assisted Living Specialist).
